I haven't been familiar with those since I learned how to rip the main movie from the disc. Now, all my movies (THAT I OWN) are on an external drive plugged into a Western Digital media player. I don't have to sit through a single ad, preview, or "warning" about how pirated movies make Jesus cry.

I'd like to bypass the task of purchasing dvd's all together. However, since the studios demand that digital movies from iTunes/Amazon/Google be infested with DRM, I am left to create my own digital copies for the time being.
My brother is crazy when it comes to pirating. Hes got about 3000+ movies and counting on nearly 10 Terabyte harddrives, and that doesn't include shows in which he downloads every episode to. All this boy does is download movies. 900 of them are of the horror genre, and maybe a 1000 of em are in near Blue Ray quality in 720p. They haven't perfected 1080p in codecs for pirated movies, which is also BS, cause they lag a bit visually and tend to not sync with the sound as well.

Amen to that.
