I will put it this forward as a soft suggestion only - I think that you are still "seriously scared", but you've shifted the focus of that fear under the influence of different propaganda. You're not in control, I'm not in control, none of is here is in any kind of control (at least not too far beyond our personal zones of influence). What we're all being sold to make us feel "in control" has been packaged in different ways to hit our different weak points, but IMO it's just panacea (cue sapator for the informative Greek etymology/mythology lesson!). I think the whole "Left" vs. "Right" battle is a canard in most ways that matter, and the real issue seems to be Top vs. Bottom to me.
