Re: Post election prediction
Yeah, expected.
Paris, France – On Sunday, an opinion poll predicted that Marine Le Pen, the longtime leader of the French far right, would secure up to 37 percent of votes in the 2027 presidential election, more than 22 points higher than in 2022 and 10 points ahead of any other candidate.
Although Le Pen plans to appeal, the verdict prevents her from participating in France’s 2027 presidential election.
“Le Pen’s line of defence is that it’s a scandal, and it was done on purpose, that it’s a coup d’etat,” Colin said. “It’s going to be a cultural battle between those on the far right who say it’s horrible and everyone else who thinks a conviction is normal.”
And this is from jazerra
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/...-new-far-right
I bet anything that if the tables have turned and Micron was accused there would be a wave of support.
So our prime idiot and his party that own half a billion in banks and raising can freely run in elections? I guess so. And the Romania candidate expelled? I guess so.

If a 4 year old was suspended for transphobia then something is seriously wrong with how that nursery is run.

Re: Post election prediction
Except this is not specific to the nursery:
Lord Young, director of the Free Speech Union, a non-governmental organization, told The Telegraph: "It beggars belief that schools are suspending children as young as five for breaching their 'transphobia' policy. If your ideology is so rigid it justifies you punishing toddlers for not complying with it, that's a powerful argument for discarding it."
A Department for Education spokesperson told The Independent: "All pupils and staff should feel safe and protected at school and should never face violence or abuse." .
That's a good one a toddler terminator!
To be fair I don't play it smart and I have no knowledge of the kinder garden education system in UK so that is why I'm asking. From what I read it seems that the law is there for anyone to use it and if that is the case it's a seek racist law.

The child’s suspension was logged under “abuse against sexual orientation and gender identity”, though specific details about the incident or the school involved remain undisclosed.
"Transphobia" isn't the reason given.
So far all we know is a child was suspended. That's nothing new or radical.

So far in your posts on this subject you haven't said if you think the evidence against her proves she is guilty of embezzelment. That seems like the most important thing. If she's guilty then there's no problem. If there wasn't good evidence against her then there is a problem.
I haven't followed the case so I don't know what the evidence against her was.

All I can say is that there are a lot of coincidences, the pool comes out, jail or deprive of political rights until the appeal that would be AFTER the elections. Romania, the same, Turkey the opposition jailed (although they're just as bad for as as Erdogan) , Greece traitor swallowed the mega protest trying to get away clean by selling half of Greece and giving fake pools. Germany the right seems to be 1 point below for winning, rumors of banning. There are a LOT of coincidences. Or, it's just me Donald and Elon.

Progressives are under the influence of some kind of mass hypnosis directed by major corporate media outlets like CNN and MSNBC. You don't see it here too much because of the low sample size but you see it very clearly on X where there are thousands of them just regurgitating whatever slop they were fed that week from the top like a bunch of zombies. It's really something to behold. It's actually why they were so effective at institutional capture over the past decade. Their strict obedience to the doctrines and directives of their thought leaders makes them far more effective than their ideological opponents, centrists, conservatives, libertarians etc. Non-progressives are just as likely to turn on each other as they are to turn on the left because they are more individualistic and less prone to being controlled and propagandized on mass.
You might find this interesting:-
This is how they hypnotize the public.

So yea, don't be too hard on them sapator. Even the best of us are prone to this kind of mass hypnosis. Some people are just going to take longer to break free and some never will. You have to remember that a lot has been invested by the elites into figuring out how to propagandize people. This is not a fortunate accident. It was planned. The good news is that more and more people seem to be breaking free so we'll see where that goes.

We aren't going to revisit the COVID debate. The data is out there. If you want to believe that it was 100% fatal, you are free to do so. If you want to believe that 1% fatality meant that the whole thing was a hoax, you are also free to do so. The number of annual deaths in the US has been rising by roughly 15K per year for as far back as I cared to look (which was only back to around 2015). The reason for this is probably a mixture of an aging population, a growing population, and in that time frame, an increased death toll due to drug overdoses. In 2020, the annual deaths jumped by a few hundred thousand, and went even higher in 2021. So, a 15K increased to a few hundred K increase that happened to coincide with COVID and was seen in every country that reports annual deaths. If you want to believe that was coincidence, go right ahead. The increase was greater that what any country reported for COVID deaths. You can blame it on COVID, you can blame it on moose, you can blame it on mice...or you can depend on the social media feed of your choosing to tell you what you want to believe. The data is public, though. Don't look for COVID deaths. Don't look for COVID at all. Just look at total annual deaths for the country of your choosing for each year. It takes a few minutes, but you can do it.

I got COVID fairly early on. I got vaccinated quite a bit later after I recovered. I think it might have been a week or so later. I resisted getting it as long as I could but our government was preparing to get extremely draconian with it. They were adding more and more restrictions by the day, going to far as threatening government employees with termination if they refused. I was even accosted once by a van load of heavily armed policemen literally in front my house because I was 1 foot step outside my house 30 seconds past curfew. It was a horrible time.
My shame comes from the fact that I didn't hold out a bit longer because just a week after I got the vaccine, the government just abruptly ended everything to do with COVID. No more curfews, no more restrictions, no mask mandates. Nothing. It just ended just like that. All I had to do was hold out a week.
I never wanted the vaccine because as far as I was concerned it was experimental. However, I wasn't too worried because lots and lots of people got it before me and they didn't seem the worse for wear and I was very clear about why I was getting it in the first place and it's not because I was scared of COVID, it's because I was scared of my government.

Interesting that you should mention this because that is EXACTLY the case. I don't know how it was in the US but over here, the propaganda was full steam ahead. It's all our government would talk about. In addition to that, curfews, mandates and all manner of ever increasing restrictions. They had us all very scared of COVID. I mean people were so frightened over here we all began fearing each other even to the point where there were confrontations over masks and social distancing.
Now I was no different. I was actually seriously scared of it too. The propaganda got me good. For me, it turned around when I actually got it. When I recovered mere days later, I remember thinking "That was it?" "This was the big bad COVID we were all so scared of?"
I asked the missus to pull up all the stats our news was broadcasting daily and I did some math. It was only then I realized that COVID had a 1% fatality rate. I remember bursting out in laughter on the bed right there with her as I realized how silly I was being. I was so damn scared of something that had almost no chance of killing me. After that I was over COVID. Didn't care about it. I got the vaccine so the government would leave me alone which as it turns out, I didn't even need to do if I had held out a bit longer.
So yea, COVID was a hoax, one of the greatest hoaxes of the 21st century.

No they're not. They still have plenty of other people to blame. Plus, they would have to admit they were wrong. Things will have to get much worse before that happens.
I've given up trying to predict the market. It might bounce right back but I'm not optimistic that it will. It certainly hasn't been very fun watching 10% of my investments disappear in two days.
But I think even more costly events are about to happen once the tariffs start taking effect. Right now we are still buying thing that were imported/produced prior to the tariffs. If businesses are paying 25% more for imports that increase will have to be passed on to us. That's a significant increase. It's really hard calculate the snowball effect that will have. This isn't even taking into account the effects the reciprocal tariffs on our exports.
Then again, it all could go away if Trump changes course. I've also have given up trying to predict what Trump is going to do next. I'm just along for the ride. Hoping we don't crash and burn.

Yea, I've heard of people getting it multiple times. I only ever got it once though and know a few people who got it twice. Many of these people went for the extra boosters and such. For all I know that had something to do with it.

I will put it this forward as a soft suggestion only - I think that you are still "seriously scared", but you've shifted the focus of that fear under the influence of different propaganda. You're not in control, I'm not in control, none of is here is in any kind of control (at least not too far beyond our personal zones of influence). What we're all being sold to make us feel "in control" has been packaged in different ways to hit our different weak points, but IMO it's just panacea (cue sapator for the informative Greek etymology/mythology lesson!). I think the whole "Left" vs. "Right" battle is a canard in most ways that matter, and the real issue seems to be Top vs. Bottom to me.

It rather is. You said it was a hoax because it killed only 1%. Perhaps you were being told something far worse, but 1% made it the deadliest thing to hit the US since the Spanish flu (which wasn't from Spain, they were just the ones who identified it, or isolated it, or something...which just goes on to show that you really don't want a disease named after you).
COVID opened my eyes to something called the appeal to authority fallacy. Before this, I had not realized that nearly all of the truths we cling to as members of human societies are not backed by rigorous investigation but by the whims of the many experts we've been taught to trust from the time we could speak.
Since this realization, I've completely changed the way I engage with the information I'm fed by so-called "authoritative sources". I am skeptical of anything I hear from such sources now. Instead of blindly trusting anything I read or hear, I ask a simple question, "Does this make sense?" Then I look for alternative explanations, I mix in my own anecdotal experiences and then form an opinion. I will never allow myself to be propagandized again.

Re: Post election prediction
Fakevid was a world experiment gone wrong. Instead of submission it lead to awakening. It may well lead to Trump winning, may.
I too submitted to the propaganda that if we are not vaccinated we are going to die and got it....Not! I'm probably the only on here that did not test drive my organism.
P.S. I like the part of the video Niya posted that says "If you are not vaccinated yo are going to DIE!!!" Lol.

Re: Post election prediction
Well, my father died of Covid in our local hospital. Experience of this event and seeing the hospital hit by a tidal wave of Covid with the result being many hundred deaths in Norfolk, really opened my eyes to our mortality and the reality of a communicable disease. It killed.
The hospital was bursting to the seams and the ambulances were queueing with those infected. My father signed his will on his death bed, he was not expecting to die. Covid killed him. not secondary illnesses.
People are stupid and paranoid, that makes them believe the truths they find in their own petty paranoias.

Does that rhetoric make you think "1% fatality rate"?
That's your justification for calling COVID a hoax. A bunch of random clips of people saying "nobody is safe". By that logic, if you saw a video with clips of people saying "everyone is safe" you would be justified in claiming COVID is real. Whether some people were overstating or understating the need to get vaccinated doesn't have any bearing on if COVID was a "Hoax" as you claim. Not even a hint of scientific data in your decision making?
Your answer also completely avoids answering the question.
At what death rate do you become concerned?
You just gave a speech about about how carefully and thoroughly they weigh all the information before reaching a decision and then quickly contradict yourself.

Just some people, actually very few. But it can be upsetting when they're making insulting comments like COVID was a hoax. I lost a family member to COVID also. My daughter was critical care nurse at the time. The hospital was overwhelmed with COVID patients and limited on their supplies. I was proud of her working so hard to save their lives. It took a toll on her.
