I think he is talking about "woke" SJW agendas which are usually driven by using groups that have historically been discriminated against. These groups have become untouchable in modern discourse so they can be used to promote any idea regardless of how ridiculous. No one will challenge these ideas because they are afraid of being labeled as intolerant. It's a very clever tactic used by the radical left to promote straight up insane ideas.

I never imagined that I'd be reading something like this one day. I swear, the world has gone mad since the pandemic started. When did something so innocent start soliciting such extreme reactions?

It's very frightening how things keep getting added to the list of things that people can't talk about. It's even more frightening that no one seems to notice how extreme censorship is becoming as the years drag on. Will we be able to talk about any thing at all by 2030 without someone becoming offended to the point where the entire discussion needs to be silenced?

People need to wake up to this before the world becomes like San Angeles in the movie Demolition Man. I used to think such a society could only exist in movies, but now.....

In any case. I'd like to say before this thread is locked that it was interesting. This discussion was one of the most interesting I've been a part of in recent times. It's also very re-assuring that there are people like Olaf, Eduardo and baka still around who aren't afraid of challenging mainstream ideas. People like this are a rare breed these days. That's what I liked most about this thread.

Also despite the disagreements between me and a couple others here, mainly wes and Shaggy, know that I have nothing against you guys. I have nothing but the utmost respect for all of you here. It's just a damn shame we cannot freely discuss differing points of view without the ever present threat of the discussion devolving into blood sport. Nonetheless it was interesting.

This is past tense in China. I have no doubt the rest of the world will follow in the coming years. I'm glad I am the age I am now because I'd probably be dead by the time this madness becomes normal in the world. I feel pity for anyone born now. I wouldn't want to live in the world they are going to grow up in.

If I lived in a first world country like America or Britain, yea. But thankfully I do not. It will take much longer for the leftist and surveillance state insanities of the first world to gain a foothold here. We are still largely untainted by these things but we do consume a lot of American media and China has a significant presence here so it's only a matter of time before some of these ideas start permeating our society. There are already small signs of it. For example, our reaction to the pandemic(severe lockdowns, masks, safe-zone etc) is something we imported from first world countries like America. No one here wanted any of it but the government did it anyway because that's what America was doing.

However, our youth are being programmed by social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram where this infectious censorship culture exists. I have two very young brothers that spend all day on TikTok and YouTube and they are already exhibiting certain undesirable behaviors from what they are seeing on social media. It's coming, but I'll be dead by the time these "cultural imports" become a big thing here.

On the topic of censorship. Here's some food for thought: The powers that be are censoring like crazy, all manner of thoughts and ideas yet something as vulgar as hardcore pornography is allowed to exist in staggering quantities and it's all 100% free and very easily accessible.

There are already in any place where there is internet.
Other follow the trends (any resemblance to reality is pure coincidence).

I'm not sure about pornography as a whole, but the sites are full of incest that is really something bad, but they don't care, on the contrary: it seems that it is what they promote the most.

The police thought seems to be very biased to destroy humanity.

I think it's another system of control. The saturation of society by pornography keeps us numb and distracted. We can't think critically about how we are all being screwed by the rulers of the world when we spend all our time feeding our addiction to the endless stream of porn that's so freely available. This is why porn is so diverse with things like incest and bestiality. They want to cater to as wide an array of fetishes as possible so they can hook as many people as possible.

I don't think that they allow bestiality, possibly because they don't want to get in trouble with animal protection institutions (not for protecting people from any perversity).
