Meanwhile, this guy is probably complaining to the supervisor about you... about how you can't simply trust his coding, how you feel the need to constantly rewrite his stuff... etc. Needs to be nipped in the bud ASAP.

Hopefully you guys are using somekind of source code repository so that you have proof of his inadequate code.
