I actually started with a huge IBM computer system that filled an entire room, complete with punch card readers. And that is how I first started programming, my senior year of high school. Punch cards to produce FORTRAN programs. After that, I got introduced to GW-BASIC and programmed that on a Trash80. Eventually I bought a 286 and began my metamorphosis into the introverted coder I am today.
