On the off chance that I'm the one that's crazy, I decided to spend that last hour scouring the internet a little for information on this very topic to see just how my views stood. Its not as easy as it looks because if you look up directly you end up with a lot of biased information written by white supremest types that insist that the Jews have it in for us all which is just nuts. So what I had to do was a lot of cross referencing with some partial biased information and information that was neutral on Jewish issues and match up names.
The results weren't very conclusive under casual examination. There are indeed a lot of Jews in very influential positions. Its almost disproportionate when compared against their non-Jewish peers. I was also quite surprised to see a lot of Asian names popping up as well. I also looked up a couple articles here and there that discussed the issue directly but with a more objective tone and it seems to me that what I was saying all through this thread had a ring of truth to it. It was mostly true in the 1900s and before. It seems that there are other players entering the game and slowly displacing Jewish hegemony of many large organizations, most notably media companies. Jews themselves are also eroding this by marrying "gentiles" and in one article, it even said that some Jews are doing notably "un-Jewish" things or to put it more correctly, aren't really identifying with their Jewish roots as strongly as their ancestors. In other words, they're Jews in name only.
I am going to let this discussion die before it makes enemies of us. I'm not conceding anything but its clear that my points need further refinement and it should be backed by citations from respected sources. I can do that, but it will take hours upon hours of reading and cross referencing and to be honest, I have better things to do. I got a couple unfinished projects that need that precious time. Perhaps when I'm not bogged down these unfinished projects, I can revisit this topic with a more finely tuned rhetoric. So for the time being, lets just agree to disagree and remain cordial.
