I tried to Rate the posting by brucevde

But showing this error :
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to brucevde again.

if this is the rule of this forum
then how can I award him?

then how can I award him?The second post in the thread I pointed you to explains that. Basically you need to rate several other people before you can rate brucevde again. While you could give ratings to other people's posts just so you can rate brucevde again, that wouldn't be fair and abuses of the rating system like that are periodically checked for.

Actually, the spread was reduced to 6 a while ago. :)
