I have a strong suspission this has been suggested before, but I thought it was worth bringing up.

I think it would be really cool to have a coding competition on the forums. Maybe one for VB and one for VB .NET. Each with levels.

A general problem could be presented instead of something specific. There could be multiple awards (cleanest code, fastest code, best design, smallest code). 1st 2nd 3rd place.

The awards could be either a special section in you profile showing the awards you've earned or maybe some rep points (in my opinion if you win an award that is worth rep points, unless rep points are meant to be totally user to user).

I know I am pretty new here, but I really love the community and all the helpful posters. I think this would really liven up the place.
