But I can't find any positive changes in the situation with Iran. All Iran has agreed to do is negotiate with the US about their nuclear program/materials. Which is what was happening when Trump decided to attack Iran in February. Iran Iran agreed to open the Straights, which had always been open before Trump attacked Iran.

Perhaps Iran will be more earnest in their nuclear negotiations, I hope so. For right now, all I see is a lot of needless deaths and hardships placed on people.
Can't really see what is in it for Iran to be earnest in the nuclear negotiations though, they were already engaged in negotiations and progress was being made when Trump decided to attack them. From their point of view I imagine they have very little faith in the current administration to negotiate in good faith, or to adhere to any agreements made. Add to that the fact Israel seems intent on prolonging conflict regardless of what is agreed, and USA will inevitably do what they are told to do by Israel....
