I don't get what you say on any of the other stuff.
Don't waste your time with this. I've engaged with these gender people quite a bit on Twitter, trying to understand this stuff to no avail. I've read all I could stand on this subject the only thing I learned is that it's absolutely nuts. It's almost cult-like. Don't try to understand it. It doesn't make any sense. It relies on circular definitions, wild subjective speculations, pseudoscience, and linguistic gymnastics. I have NEVER read anything substantive about this topic, nothing that could be considered a solid foundation for this belief system. It's all smoke and mirrors.

No one I know takes this stuff seriously, not even people I meet who live abroad. It seems to be confined to the political and intellectual upper classes of Anglosphere nations(US, UK, Austrailier, Canada) and their allies as well as the entertainment industry. Before Trump and Elon got their divorce, one of the things they did was to dismantle USAID so we don't have to worry about them pushing that stuff in our countries for the foreseeable future.

My advice to you is to not engage with this at all. Don't try to understand it. Don't try to debate it. Just leave it alone. Treat it like Flat Earth theory. When people start droning on about it, just nod in approval and try to change the subject or exit the conversation. This will die out eventually. Just give it time.

C++ programmers will dismiss you as a cretinous simpleton for your inability to keep track of pointers chained 6 levels deep and Java programmers will pillory you for buying into the evils of Microsoft. Meanwhile C# programmers will get paid just a little bit more than you for writing exactly the same code and VB6 programmers will continue to whitter on about "footprints". - FunkyDexter

There's just no reason to use garbage like InputBox. - jmcilhinney

The threads I start are Niya and Olaf free zones. No arguing about the benefits of VB6 over .NET here please. Happiness must reign. - yereverluvinuncleber
