How to live capture the selected area of the screen and tell the location ?
I want to write a program to live capture a live selected area of the screen. Then the selected area will be saved in hard drive and the location of where the selected area of the screen will write to a text file.
My question is how I can live selected an area and let vb know?

4 Posts and 4 threads. I offered advice yesterday based on JMc's response. It's kind of rude you are ignoring every one of us offering help. Who is writing your application us or you? This is not programming. I wish you the best but I personally won't be offering any more help.

How do you learn polite when you were a kid?
I am not sure whether you have had your parent to teach you.
Learning to be polite need particle, the process need asking question and digest the answer.
I would consider learning programming is the same thing.
You don't need to offer help if you don't like.
The forum likes a wiki, more questions are asked is better. The answer is easily to be found the better
Asking question is also a contributor.
But not your style of attacking people learning and asking question.
At this point, may I politely suggest you to learn to be a good kid from your parent first.
I always believe a good behavior is much more important than good programming skill.
If you don't agree, ask your mom, OK?

Good behaviour would include making some effort on your own behalf rather than asking others to do everything for you. The person who asks you politely to do their work for them is just as lazy as the one who isn't polite about. If you don't agree, ask your mom, OK?
That said, perhaps you could point out exactly where ident was not polite to you. This is your fourth thread and the only reply you've made to any of them is to complain about someone being impolite, despite the fact that constructive replies have been made to the other three by people volunteering their time to help you. Maybe you need to rethink what constitutes polite and if your mother doesn't think so then maybe she needs to do some rethinking too. If you ask strangers for help and they provide it then the polite thing to do would generally be considered to thank them. This is just a typical case of "you didn't give me what I want so I'm going to make out that you're the one with the problem rather than accept and admit that my request was unreasonable".

With your eyes, visually select an area of your screen, then speak into your microphone to let VB know.
Seriously, I've designed an application that accomplishes what you want. You can select and area of the screen, or the program can search the area of the screen for an object that matches a copy, then either uses that location to rebuild the screen, also saving the area, also it's location, width and height to a text file. I would've shared this with ya, but seeing how you wasn't polite enough to appreciate the help you recieved with a simple "Thank you" in your other threads, and your immature response to ident, I wont.
Learn to be thankful in the future, Iceman. Don't ignore the help you recieve. Also, Google should be your first method to find coded examples for your project. Never ask for help without trying on your own first. And when you get stuck, provide the code you need help with, and maybe someone who doesn't know you here will help you out. Remember to thank them afterwards!
