I'm sure there are tons of things in Word that system RichEdit controls can't support.

I'm not sure that storing screenshots is very useful though, because a lot of things are far larger than the screen and even compressing bitmaps can result in large blobs of data and a loss of fidelity. At least metafiles can be scaled cleanly if they contain vector graphics.

Wrapping capture bitmaps within PDF markup only makes things worse, so I'm not sure why that might make sense. What am I missing?
