Just as an FYI, since my code is mentioned in this thread ... my Collections wrapper was written for one primary reason (and just had some extra methods thrown in for good measure).

Hopefully, this code illustrates the motivation for my wrapper:

Code:

    Dim c As New CollectionEx
    'Dim c As New Collection ' To just use built-in VB6 collection.
    Dim k1 As String
    Dim k2 As String

    k1 = ChrW$(&H1056) & ChrW$(&H1060) & ChrW$(&HBFD) & ChrW$(&H15F1) & ChrW$(&H31B1) & ChrW$(&HA19E)
    k2 = ChrW$(&HD9A2) & ChrW$(&H2770) & ChrW$(&H4DE5) & ChrW$(&H1AF0) & ChrW$(&HA28B) & ChrW$(&H2F86)

    c.Add "asdf", k1
    c.Add "qwer", k2 ' <---- Error on built-in, error on Schmidt, NO error on Elroy.
I knew I was sacrificing some speed to accomplish this. But, for people who want to use binary keys, it gets the job done.

Regards,
Elroy
