I always thought I'd stop programming when they pry the keyboard out of my cold, dead hands... now, I'll be retiring long before that. I've already started researching other careers based on things I've discovered lately that I enjoy doing... originally I had thought about a dog rescue (breed specific) but now I'm thinking about getting into training. Less stressful than a rescue, easier to manage, and just as rewarding.

Introduce yourself into the game's universe, it's a good hobby, and people dedicate to, they are winning pretty money.

Okay, that's it, talking about your dog in this manner! Enough! Bring your dog to the screen to read this.

Potential risk of what? Sounds like a training issue that should have been dealt with 12+ years ago. I've never met a 13 year-old dog that was "ruff" with anyone. By the time my Irish Setter was that age he slept 23 hours a day and needed help climbing the three steps up to my back porch.

And after 13 years you would just dump off your dog like that? That's pretty cold. Dogs are never too old to learn to be gentile. Your grandson will grow like a weed and in the few years or fewer your dog has left he will slow down enough that you will someday wonder why you ever worried about it in the first place. Unless the dog truly is a "potential risk."

Yes, we eat dog meat here but it is not my favorite, I've tasted it a few times when in drinking session but then again I don't really drink that much, its been years since I last tasted an alcohol.

Hes super active when the mailman comes by. Going on attack mode lol. Hes getting cranky in his old age. We had an "incident" the other day with him and my grandson and it scared the hell out of me. My grandson is doing better and cuts/scratches healing up already.

Re: above 50 years old and still programming

Ok so I think Im done programming full time professionally. Burnt out and ready to go full time with my composites business, its just more satisfying now. Probably take a part time contract job to fill in the gaps if I need to but still like to do the projects I want to program
