Challenge accepted
So 6 months ago me and my brother were discussing challenges, and my brother came up with the idea that I should eat only oatmeal for breakfast, lunch and dinner for a year. And so I have done for 6 months, and I intend to do for the next 6 months too. also I've made sure to eat vegetables, fruits and fish at least once a week (which were my terms of the challenge). And as for the exercise I bicycle to school every day which is 5 km (10 km round-trip obviously) and my habits from when I was a swimmer.. every morning when I wake up and evening before I go to bed, 50 push ups and 100 sit ups. (I used to run 10 km too but I can't do that anymore because of asthma)
I will answer the questions I can..
Have you accepted any interesting challenges lately?

Without getting too specific, your problems might end up being behind you. That's a whole lot of roughage, which may or may not end up having a detrimental impact on your well-being.

I rather not go into details but so far my well-being has improved positively. To explain it short, I don't experience dyspnea as often as I used to..

Re: Challenge accepted
I took a challenge to eat healthier than I have been. I eat fast food normally, almost every meal. I have tried to buy healthy snacks for me to eat while at work that I could store in my locker and when my coworkers get lunch I try to pick the healthier option or healthier, lower calorie choices from the menu. That went well for about two weeks.
Still striving for the healthy options, but I get more attracted to the less healthy, more tasty items.

Re: Challenge accepted
The taste often comes from fat, which caries LOADS of flavor, and which we are conditioned to desire. In about 10 years, the low-calorie and healthier options will begin to have increasing appeal. Until then, do what you want. Somewhere around 30 you will begin to lose the ability to eat whatever you want with impunity. For some it comes ealier, but you've posted enough pictures that it's clear you don't have a weight problem, so your metabolism is probably rockin'. That'll change. I eat almost constantly, so I have to eat pretty healthy. Fortunately, I really like raw veggies, sushi, and some oddly healthy foods.

Re: Challenge accepted
Yeah I have been pretty lucky with my metabolism. However I am starting to gain weight around my belly/sides. I'm in no way complaining that I am overweight or fat. But I know its an indication I am making poor choices in my diet and I am too sedentary. Recently I have been trying to get up ever so often at work to move around an exercise slightly. I have also tried to take up running, but running is not fun for me. I did walk for a few weeks. 6 miles or so at night before going to bed. But I lost interest.

Yeah I supposed haha. But I would often come up with excuses or other things that were more important. I brought my dog with me and he was annoying. He is not good at walks.

I was thinking that, too, but he is adding veggies, fruit, and fish. If the ratios are right, in should be getting a pretty broad spectrum of nutrients.

The question is what do you have to gain from that? I took a challenge with my ex girlfriend that i should see a theater play with her. Ye, i hate theater so much that i have renounced it for an ancient Greek word and donated it to Latin.Anyhow i took the challenge because if i would have won i would be doing some 'peculiar' stuff with her afterwards.
Ahh, also the challenge was that i couldn't sleep during the play (bummer). Needless to say, i lost.

19.. I wake up every night, like every 2 hours or so because of dyspnea, one of those nights I might not wake at all, doesn't matter. this has happened since august 2011, I experience dyspnea multiple times every hour every day, anyone who has experienced dyspnea even once could understand how suffocating this torture is. Unlike most people i'm living to live until i die, whereas most survive until they die. Because of this, I'm not depressed, I'm happy. Besides I hope I wont live that long.

anyone who has experienced dyspnea
I get it very occassionally and only as a "one-off" rather than a repeated experience. Even then it's pretty terrifying so you have my sympathy if it's chronic for you.
I have also tried to take up running, but running is not fun for me
I tried all sorts of exercises and none of them stuck until I found climbing. Now I'm fit as a fiddle and it doesn't feel like I'm "exercising" at all. I think the secret is to find an reasonably physical activity you enjoy doing for it's own sake. Getting fit then comes as a pleasant side effect.

I am going Hiking this weekend with a friend. I love the forest and going on hikes, however I live in a large city with the nears hiking trail or mountain ridge about an hour away. But if I get into Hiking, walking is also a good alternative i may end up liking again. I suppose I need to find a fun activity. I have been tempted to try Crossfit. It seems to be the current workout fad, and a lot of people are interested in it. However the prices are expensive compared to the gym I currently have access to: school gym, free.

Get yourself a shotgun and you might be able to combine all kinds of sports. There was a time, not so long ago, when you could go to a range with a shotgun and spend whatever amount of time and money you had standing in one spot blasting targets out of the air. You can still do that, but lots of ranges are starting to spice things up quite a bit. If you look around, you might find that there are some relatively strenuous shooting opportunities these days. Unfortunately, it tends to be a rather expensive hobby, even if you start loading your own shells, since you are constantly pumping through the shells. I never had much interest in recreational shooting because it seemed so sendentary, but some of the newer shooting sports seem pretty entertaining...except that my ears already suck and my one experience with shotguns showed me very quickly that I'd need some SERIOUS ear protection to keep what I have left. Handguns are ok, but I hestitate to ever shoot a shotgun again without wearing two kinds of ear protection.

Re: Challenge accepted
I could get into Paint balling. That is semi inexpensive, at least the rounds dont cost as much as traditional ammo. You can actually shoot at your friends, and if you do it correctly it can be a good exercise.
Im not a shotgun fan. I dont like the recoil that they give and bruise my shoulder. I like rifle shooting because its much more accurate and I think its more fun. Especially when you are shooting targets that are further away.

The oatmeal for a start, who needs pasta, rice or bread when you can have 0atmeal instead?!
Then the rest of it is just as hilarious (as long as you don't ride your bike on the road as I don't really fancy being road kill)!

We ate our emergency rations for a week. Just to see what it really takes to cook, portion sizes, taste, and what else we need besides the actual rations (pepper and spices, and lots of them!).
Oatmeal was one of them. I'd advise you to monitor your health very closely, but it seems as if you have come this far, you are probably doing ok.

Imagine though that you only believed in things you could taste!!! the world would be constructed out of much more deliciousness.
Signs would have to be lick-able, i would how you would indicate directions only by taste alone. It would certainly make map reading / navigation more interesting and more fattening.

Would you consider that a rational approach to eating?
On a more serious note, be sure that the spices are varied. I took black pepper along to spice up a couple hiking meals. One night, when I was cooking by feel, I added too much pepper to a pot of mac & cheese, and am now burned out on the cheapest spice and the cheapest meal.

Yeah, no kidding:
Monday: oooh, rations! What we got? Spaghetti and meat sauce! Hmm. Needs a bit of pepper, but not too bad!
Tuesday: What's for.. oh yeah, we opened the spaghetti. Ok, make sure you bring the pepper.
Wednesday: So, Spaghetti and pepper? Ok.
Thursday: Sigh. Spaghetti and pepper.
Friday: Don't we have anything to spice this up? Yes, I know we have pepper.
Saturday: Spaghetti and pepper.
Sunday: Let me guess? Spaghetti and Pepper? What No?! Cool! Something different?! Oh. We ran out of pepper...
But on the whole, these freeze dried meals are a lot better than they were a couple of decades ago. Very light, as well. The green beans were especially light and actually very good dry; probably a good hiking snack (of course, there's no getting around the fact that you need x amount of water, and water is heavy).

Re: Challenge accepted
Yeah, freeze-dried has really improved, but it's still something that can be screwed up if you send the wrong person shopping. You need variety. I was having some chicken and potatoes last year, and found that they were quite good. The chicken was good even if I didn't rehydrate it. I wouldn't carry the stuff hiking, though, as it is too bulky and too expensive for the number of calories it contains.
