I wouldn't speak for Shaggy if I were you!
<Sigh> not that old chestnut. I didn't speak for him, I agreed with him.
Does that mean you want it to end?
Not really, I'd rather see it continue in a more amusing manner. More Wit to go with the Witis perhaps.

I think it is most likely that a lot of it was lost on you due to you dysphasic intoxication.
All men have an inherent right to life, the right to self determination including freedom from forced or compulsory labour, a right to hold opinions and the freedom of expression, and the right to a fair trial and freedom from torture. Be aware that these rights are universal and inalienable (cannot be given, taken or otherwise transferred or removed) although you do risk losing the aforementioned rights should you fail to uphold them e.g Charles Taylor; United Nations sources: http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/, http://www.ohchr.org/EN/Professional...ages/CCPR.aspx. How are you going to satisfy your lustful desires? By subversively supplanting everyone on the planet?

I think the general consensus that people are coming around to is this: We'd prefer if YOU stopped hammering this thread with garbage. Things certainly head towards nonsense in Chit Chat, but posting two full pages of drivel over the weekend while occasionally suggesting that another member isn't welcome here is well over the line. Whoever you believe gave you the authority to make such a decision, I can think of a set who will disabuse you of that belief.

As I just indicated in post #682 you said iMp would be better off not "doing a software package" for any company (in post #381) implying that you thought he was not cut out for any sort of IT work and that he should not therefore be taking up everyone's time and resources in a thread such as the one he has spawned. Then you went way over the line by completely contradicting yourself, ostensibly because you thought that it would benefit you on this particular occasion, which reminds me of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody "Any way the wind blows doesn't really matter to me".
The song!

As for your totally misunderstanding and misusing the statement I made back there: I'm not surprised. I doubt anybody else was so confused by it, but, as you said, they should speak for themselves, so why don't you poll them?

All men have an inherent right to life, the right to self determination including freedom from forced or compulsory labour, a right to hold opinions and the freedom of expression, and the right to a fair trial and freedom from torture. Be aware that these rights are universal and inalienable (cannot be given, taken or otherwise transferred or removed) although you do risk losing the aforementioned rights should you fail to uphold them e.g Charles Taylor; United Nations sources: http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/, http://www.ohchr.org/EN/Professional...ages/CCPR.aspx. Yep, I've seen a few go that way in this thread; there really does seem to be a highly contagious form of viral dysphasia going around at the moment!

Norf, souf, eaf, wef; they all seem equally susceptible. Seems to have originated from the souf tho.

Re: About a 60kb Office Application Suite that I have written for Microsoft...
I don't see it as garbage or I would not have posted it.
To be honest, I don't think it's the "garbage" that anyone's objecting to. As Shaggy said, threads in Chit Chat do tend to gravitate toward the ridiculous. Hell, just read the golden Chair thread (which is probably the eldest live thread in the forum) to see that. I think you're taking the ridiculous and banal to whole new levels and it's fairly irritating but I certainly wouldn't question your right to post it (the mods might but that's up to them, it's their bandwidth). I have no doubt that some members of the forum find my inane ramblings irritating from time to time. That's just lige and most of us are happy to live with it.
I think the objection is to your insinuation that another member, any other member is malicious in intent and doesn't have a right to be here. I'm unclear as to whether you're implying TheImp is writing a virus or whether he is a virus but it really doesn't matter. The latter is rude, the former is one of the most serious accusation you can level at someone on a professional programming forum and you really ought to be backing it up if you're going to level it. And TheImp certainly does have the right to be here, just as you and I do... right up until the moment a mod bans us.

Wow, that's the first time I've had the double post glitch. I feel I'm finally one of the guys.

You either haven't been reading the thread with enough attention, or you are having some short term memory problems either from lack of sleep, or as a side effect of the Engish dysphasia virus you came down with recently. Please reread the last few pages of the thread, and ask me again if you still have any questions.

The last few pages largely consist of you posting random snippets from some pop-culture meme that showed up decades ago and peaked in popularity nearly a decade back. Interspersed with that were your occasional shots at ThE iMp calling him a virus and suggesting that he leave. It's those occasional shots that appear malicious and they were written by you. If there is anything in there that supports your accusations, I certainly haven't seen it, so please do point them out.

As I have already shown you are inclined to argue one way at any moment in time and then completely the reverse the very next as long as you have something to gain from doing so!
How are you going with the lyrics for Bohemian Rhapsody? Are there any words that you don't understand?

I've totally ignored your strange references to Bohemian Rhapsody. Now that I have gone back to see what brought that on, I will say that it does fit the Witis pattern: For some time now, you have couched everything in such a barrage of irrelevant, and extensive, detail, that your point could be classified as a concealed weapon.
I'll put it this way, though it will do no good: You misunderstood a statement I made, and I'm not surprised. Written text can be confusing, since it is often devoid of the non-verbal communication that makes up so much of speech. However, I don't believe that ThE ImP was similarly confused based on his reply.
