I imagine you can find a mathematician or two, that would claim that the infinite sums used to describe/calculate PI, are indeed perfect representations.
While I am not one of them, I do like the fact, that the field of math has a great number of problems, that aren't easily calculated/proved while being extremely simple to describe. Or things that defy conventional logic. In my opinion, that is what makes the field worth a study.
