Yeah but the point is, you bought a movie, and are forced to watch the previews over anf over and over everytime you play it. You keep spamming the menu button only to find you are prohibited to. At least back when VHS was the norm, nothing prohibited you to fast forward. After seeing the ad for the umteenth time, it gets agrivating. Nothing to do but drink a beer till the movie starts.

I'm 100% with the BS man on this one. It drives me mad.

Even worse, though, are the copyright theft clips. I've bought the disc legally, and yet every time I play it I get this two-minute long clip warning me of the perils of buying pirated discs. I'm tempted to buy pirated discs simply so that I don't have to sit and watch that clip each and every time.

They haven't perfected 1080p in codecs for pirated movies, which is also BS, cause they lag a bit visually and tend to not sync with the sound as well.

Just to be clear, I own all the discs for the movies on my harddrive. Not really for any particular moral or ethical reason, but mainly because I like to create my own digital copies from the source (DVD, Blu-Ray). Same goes for CDs, although I have warmed up to purchasing digital music since they pretty much removed the crap DRM from the files.

This little sidebar has made me think. You know what's BS? DRM, especially the type that either A.) requires you to be constantly connected to the internet (usually applies to PC games) or B.) restricts the content to a specific device or group of devices (iTunes digital movies). So what you're saying is, if you ever take the authentication server(s) down or I decide I want to use a different device, my content is useless. Awesome.

Pennies. Pennies are worthless. What can you buy with a penny? Nothing. So why even have pennies? Get rid of em! Nobody wants to carry pennies around. Why do you think there are so many pennies laying on the street that don't even get picked up? Cause nobody wants em! They are like mosquitoes! Go away you pennies! Think about it. There's 4 quarters to a dollar, 2 nickels to a dime, and 5 pennies to a nickel! Even if you save a bunch of pennies, you're not gonna feel like counting em. Think about how much time store clerks waste giving pennies back to ya. And how often the change is just a penny. How often do you hear people say, "keep the change?" A lot cause people don't want a penny. Every price should end in a 5 or a 0. Pennies are BS.

Gas Pump Prices. Who's ridiculous idea was it to end the gas prices with a 9/10's of a cent? Why can't they just even out the number to an even penny? To trick the customers into thinking it's a penny cheaper a gallon? It's ridiculous. Remove it! Nobody cares. The gas prices are bad enough as it is, it doesn't need a fraction as well. It's probably the only product that has the fraction. Imagine if we went to a store to buy soda only to find the soda was only 74 9/10 cents. Wouldn't it be wiser to have an even 75 cents?

Pennys are especially useless in the United States seing how they are not legal currency.

What is their secret?!!! To be a lawyer, a doctor, or an actor? And supposedly they get money from Israels government to help create businesses out here in the US, or anywhere else they live. Not that Im racist or anything against them. But they sure know ways of making a lot of money. Hell they get food stamps and welfare, while at the same time, drive a Ferrari. Dont believe me? I know my neighbors well enough to know what they drive, but I wouldn't even WANT to know them well enough to know whether they are on food stamps or welfare. If you are cross-correlating your neighbors income against their cars, are you really just a little old lady in disguise?

You also live in south Florida. Having been there for five years myself, I don't trust ANYTHING that comes out of that place. It's the land of the surreal. Sounds like South Beach every night. Only they got more gay guys and drunkards than all of San Fransisco. I live on an island which is part of North Miami Beach. Its also a large jewish community along with Bal Harbor and
Surfside.
