Re: Can you recommend a bare bones cell phone?

According to my research this phone doesn't support data transfer, adding new ringtones, etc features - in other words it's quite limited to what it is.

edit: tg, specs from the second link suggest there is no support for transfering rigntones.

Live-chatted with a Nokia rep, who said:
Since the device doesn't have GPRS, or Bluetooth features, you are unable to transfer your personalize ringing tones to the phone.
    and
Let me inform you that your device is unable to transfer data from PC to phone or vice versa.

Sorry for the cross-posting, but I copied from our chat and pasted here so I didn't want to refresh and lose it. But yes, we are all in agreement. Oh well. I did say I wanted bare bones!

My last post, and I belive RhinoBull's also (I swear I saw them!) seemed to have disappeared. BUt yes, I had a live chat with a rep who said you can't connect the phone to a PC and xfer data.

Oh, I must've been on page 1. I think this is the first time a thread of mine ever went to two pages.

Too much cell phone radiation... or maybe not enough... who knows...
