Cheapest Place to get GENUINE MS Keys?

Does anyone out there know where the cheapest place is to get MS software and or keys? Preferably somewhere that's reliable and well known.

I'm looking to purchase a few so if anyone knows somewhere please let me know.

Windows & Office really. I'm not looking for anything else at the moment.

Your best bet will be OEM copies, for example newegg.com sells retail and OEM versions of Windows 7.

The retail version for home premium is 179, while the OEM version is 105.

There are differences in the versions (not functionality differences, but license differences) of course so you should make sure it meets your needs.

As you are in the UK I recommend checking out Dabs.com , Novatech.co.uk , and Scan.co.uk , as well as reliable sources on Amazon (such as Amazon themselves, who have had good offers fairly recently).

If you are after multiple copies then you might be able to get an even better deal via other channels, but whether that is apt depends on the circumstances (eg: are they all for you?).

Actually we are planning to do something along the lines of reselling custom built systems. And obviously if we are going down that route we will need a good key supplier.

I'm not sure about which other channels you are talking about, do you have a suggestion?

If you intend to do more that just a handful of computers, you should definitely look to get a trade supplier, as they will be able to get you reseller prices (which should be under the retail prices available to the public), and should also be able to give you good discounts as you reach higher quantities.

Unfortunately I've never been in that situation myself, and no longer know anyone else in that situation either.

I have vague a recollection of Misco doing it (as well as at least one of the ones I mentioned before), but as they also serve the general public they are unlikely to be the best.

As far as Windows XP goes, Microsoft has stopped selling product keys to retail customers. They are still selling to Authorized resellers, last I heard.
