    Zoom Lens

Going to buy one of these tonight:

That's assuming that Argos don't fob me off with a display model like they tried to with my camera.
I don't live here any more.

    f/4-5.6

Not aperture much range there... but the price is reasonable.

That looks like a decent lens.
However,I would suggest going for a 300mm to 400mm zoom.

And do not buy SIGMA. I bought one and am now regretting the purchase.

What does Voice Recognition (VR) have to do with cameras?

I end up having to steady it against something anyway. I carry a piece of cloth with me to insert between the camera body and, say, a tree trunk to prevent scratches if I can't use a tripod.

I'm no strag, I always know where my towel is.

Oooooh it's good. It's damn good.

In fact it's so good you can even look through the viewfinder and still use stereoscopic vision (if you're zoomed the correct amount). At 32 yards (for my eyes) 75mm focal length gives me a 1:1 left eye:right eye correspondence. That's very handy for shooting moving objects like birds and ice-cream vans.

VR is for pussies that can't hold a camera still (or level for that matter).

It's a good lens for the price. Oh my, yes.

It's not my fault I have one leg shorter than the other.

And it's not mendhak's fault that he has both legs shorter than each other.
    I use VB 6, VB.Net 2003 and Office 2010

    Code:
Excel Graphing | Excel Timer | Excel Tips and Tricks | Add controls in Office | Data tables in Excel | Gaussian random number distribution (VB6/VBA,VB.Net) | Coordinates, Vectors and 3D volumes

    That's a variable maximum aperture: f/4 at 55mm, f/5.6 at 200mm.

I thought VR stood for Virtual Regurgitation.
