Having no plans beyond Windows 7 doesnt mean they wont, just that they havent started on the next OS since Windows 7 is soon to barely go RC 1.

You can not install VB6 development studio on a 64 bit OS like Vista 64 or Windows 7 64 bit. You can install a virtual machine, install 32 bit XP/Vista and then install VB6.

VB6 is by no means "kaput"
