    Strechythingie pictures

    Hey all!

    I'm, wondering, how can I draw a picture streched? Not normal, but like its on a 3d wall you see from the side... no-one will prolly understand me this way lol, but if you do, and you know, please tell me! I dont want to use dx by the way

    Hehe, told you no-one would understand me For the ones that now mario kart, the old snes one. I want to draw a floor just like that, its called z mode orso

    z mode? z is a variable that represents the 'z' coordinate in a 3d plane (height).

    i think i understand what u want to do, but im not sure of how to do it, without dx. ill think about it and post back if i come up with anything.

    i have this program called div games studio, and they call it z mode there

    perhaps u could use bitblt. take the pic, and find out about a quarter of its height(the range of the floor). bitblt the pic into the new quarter sized spot, and see how it looks. havent tested yet, u might need to go smaller.

    i thought of this while playing a 3d game, maybe u should try that out, it might help u think of something

    You mean like larger at the bottom of the screen and smaller at the top?

    Sort of playing with the horizontal perspective (as PSP calls it)?
