Have they given you any indication of which banks can / cannot be linked to your account ?
Were you able to ask if your particular banks were unable to be linked, and if any different banks in India would be able to be linked to paypal?
I am so disgusted that I have applied for a credit card! I don't like Credit Cards but seems like I have to get myself one...
Respond via the BBB and ask which accounts they do accept?
Thnx. I will wait for another week before doing that. Waiting for the Credit Card...
I have already tried it. Doesn't recognise my debit card! I have DCards from three different International Banks :(
Can you tell me the name of those Banks ? Then, I will ask PayPal about it via mail. :)
Hey, forgot to mention one thing. Now it's mandatory to include the PAN number and Mobile number in our PayPal accounts. Did you tried updating those datas ?

Unfortunately we don't have a list with the bank that supports PayPal.

BTW I have seen their replies. This one simply confirms it!!! Their English is really pathetic or probably they are simply using pre-formatted replies like the way they did in the link that I gave above.

That's nothing... One of their gimmicks to not pay me!!!!Quote:
What have you done at that time ?
Here's a reply I got for my question, yesterday:

customer message: Last four digits of your bank account: '####'
Additional Information: 'I have successfully verified and linked my
PayPal account with my bank.
But my account is a "Saving Bank account".
Will there be any problem with that on withdrawals ? Because, when I
tried withdrawing some money, PayPal mentioned it as a "Current" account
type. But it is actually "Saving Bank" type.'
Yes that could be a possibility...Quote:
May be you have created the account several months before and because of not linking the Bank, they may have added restrictions to your account !
this is not by any means a new policy. It has been in effect for years and it is a max of 21 days. If the person buying the item marks it "received" OR leaves you a positive feedback it will be released sooner. If you have a paypal plus account, you can request "instant payment"
This is not the only way you can get money out of paypal. they do the "request a check" yes, but there is a third option. I have a paypal debit card. I no longer have to request money to be transferred to any bank as i have instant access to it when purchased. Note that the free paypal account only lets you get $500 a month. If you do more business than that you will have to upgrade to the plus account, which is free also but charges a small percentage for funds transfers. I don't remember for sure but i think it's 3%.
Also the paypal debit is not the same thing as the paypal credit card.
I have a Premier account. Whenever I receive money, PayPal will take some fees from that.
Eg: Money received = 170$ ; fees = 7$ (approx.)
Oh! I was thinking about selling something in Ebay. But I am not gonna do that anymore....:)
Recently, I bought a "John Cena wrist and head band" from an US seller in E-bay, for about 18$, for my brother - he's a crazy JohnCena fan :)
It is expected to reach here in a week or more (before the end of May).
I think, E-bay won't take money from buyers, as fees. Only sellers have to bear the pain...;)
Hi...
I got my money from PayPal :)
After 2 days (from the date of withdrawal), I got the money deposited by PayPal.
Amount = 160$ (7051 Rs.)
But the problem is, I can't add money from bank to PayPal ("adding funds" in PayPal account). I asked about this via mail.

I will check that...
have you tried adding a bank debit card (with visa or mastercard logo) to paypal? That would be a workaround.
I have tried adding my UCO BANK's Debit (ATM) card (VISA). And it shows this error message:
...:cry:Quote:
This credit card has been refused by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your credit card issuer's Customer Service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card.
Today I finally got a credit card but still unable to link my credit card... I have sent an email to them... Let's see the reply...
Attached is the screenshot...
Good luck...:thumb:
How much did it cost for the Credit Card ? I mean, I would like to get one. So, I need to know the fees, etc.
We are talking about a Credit Card here, it is never completely free !Quote:
Or, completely free ?
i dont understand why they won't issue you a paypal debit. I can get my money directly from that, and i do NOT have a backup funding source on it. It is paypal only.
Thanks... That seems to be good. I will try to apply for one.. :)
I think, our banks deals with Rupees, as the primary one. So, currency conversion may be needed to add funds from bank to PayPal. That may be the reason !
well as long as you have an actual card, a lot of people on paypal accept credit cards as well.
Just an update...
No reply from them yet...
