Hi
I see that when a thread is resolved it has a green tick to the left of the title can you please explain how to enter this.
On the tool bar is an item called "Thread Tools". Click on it then "Mark Thread Resolved".
Thread moved to 'Forum Feedback', which is where questions about site usage etc belong
To clarify a little, the "Thread tools" is just above the first post in the thread - and like various other features of this site, you need JavaScript enabled in your browser for this to work.
If you have not got JavaScript enabled you can do it manually, by clicking "Edit" on the first post, then "Go advanced". When the page loads add "[Resolved]" in front of the thread title, click the green-tick icon, and click "Save Changes".
it should be noted that only the original thread author, or a moderator, can mark the thread resolved
Hi Tyson
I did that but it does not show even after reload, do you have to wait for the controller?
Which thread are you trying this on?
Gary
Hi
Controlled Input
It doesn't seem to have worked: http://www.vbforums.com/showthread.php?t=634704
I just tested it on this thread, and it worked - after clicking "Mark thread resolved" the page re-loaded with the "[Resolved]" and tick added. (which I have now removed)
What actually happens for you?
Hi
I signed in and tried first time the page reloaded but did not show resolved.
So I tried again and now it is resolved, cannot explain why this happened
