I heard this on a radio show.
A person called up a radio show to tell them that STARBUCKS is deliberately lowering the caffeine content in their coffee. This means their customers will have to buy more coffee to get their high.
The host asked him, how did he hear about this.
He said he has been experiencing less of an high than he used to from the same cup of coffee.
How long had he been drinking coffee? 20 years. :blush:

My house mate thinks that, in ancient times, Irish gypsies colinised Egypt and built the pyramids. His basis for this belief? The only two places in the English Language where the contruct 'gyp' occurs are in the words Egypt and and gypsy => it must be true. I remember telling another mutual freind about this and his response was "That's rubbish... everyone knowns it was the Egyptians who colonised Ireland!". Sometimes I despair of my freinds.
Funky - pffft! Now THAT rubbish! Clearly it was the Romanian Gypsies that colonized Egypt. That's what they did with all their loot they pilfered off of unsuspecting travelers.

Actually, one of my all time favorites conspriacy theories is The "Frozen Envelope Conspiracy".
It is claimed by many, to this day, that the 1985 NBA Draft Lottery was rigged so Patrick Ewing would land with the New York Knicks, who had the first pick in that year's draft.
The theory claims that the Knicks' envelope was placed in a freezer so that when the commissioner reached into the lottery bowl containing the envelopes of all the teams, he would be able to identify the Knicks’ envelope because it would be colder than the others. :lol:
I heard a "conspiracy" story somewhere that Obama was actually trying to HELP this economy get better!

That conspiracy theories are written and spread by the Government to throw people on the wrong track.
....The one about the phone who's signal was actually fine and the fact that we where simply holding it wrong.....
Also, the car where the brakes failed to work was purely user error.
In each incident.
