[RESOLVED] When will VS2010 's complete version be released ?
Now, they are providing only Beta versions (I think it is Beta 2, now available).

Re: When will VS2010 's complete version be released ?
Ummm, didn't it go RTM 2 weeks ago? I installed VS2010 Ultimate RTM last weekend and if you have a beta/ RC installed already, you can convert the key it gave you into a full license for RTM via the link mendhak provided
Re: When will VS2010 's complete version be released ?
Is that a full/final version ?
And among them, which edition shall I download ? (Ultimate/Pro/Premium/Test Pro/Team Foundation Server)
Can you provide the difference between these editions ?

On that page you liked to it says:

* Customers can evaluate Visual Studio 2010 editions free for 90 days. After 30 days, customers must register the product to obtain a free key which extends the trial an additional 60 days.]
Which means it is only got for 90 days! Unless, you were referring to something else?

Well, the toolbar up the top of the page has each version like "Professional", "Premium", "Ultimate" and "Test Professional" clicking on those versions will link to a page with a toolbar on the left side of the page with "Overview, "System Requirements", "Features", "Download" and "Buy". Clicking ythose links will giving you that information for that particularly version of the product you selected.

The trial is only 90 (30+60) days - but according to what I have been told, you can make it permanent by entering a proper serial number.

There is a comparison table of the features here: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products
..however, they are only trial versions that last for 90 days, so I would recommend going for the free VB 2010 Express edition (http://www.microsoft.com/express/Dow...0-Visual-Basic ) which is not shown there.
As you are new to VB.Net you'll be spending most of your time working out the code, so won't be able to properly work out the extra features of one of the trial editions.
The chances are that the Express edition will be good enough for you anyway, in which case the other editions would be a waste of money - but if you do have a need to upgrade later, you can get a trial then to make sure you are buying the right one.

Yeah, but I can't find where on the site it says that?

I didn't see it either (I wasn't actually looking for it!), but my MVP lead sent me this link that explains it (aimed at MSDN subscribers):

Please note: Pre-release versions of Visual Studio 2010 cannot be converted to fully licensed version. You must uninstall all Visual Studio 2010 pre-releases before installing the official release.
