You mean, using the VBA Editor in Word...????
Witing a Keylogger will probably not be supported here.
Dear Akhilesh,
Thanks for the interest taken. My problem is..........
Once I log in, my VB file should start working and keep a watch of all keys pressed and record them in any file for later use.
Hope you will come up with a solution.....of course I will rate you the best.
Thanks

Why do you want to do that?
Why are you allowing him the access to your files if you don't trust him? Till the time you come up with a very good reason (which I am yet to see in VBF :) for keyloggers) I don't think you will get an answer to your query....
And a keylogger won't prevent anything. Use User Accounts to prevent unwanted access or NTFS permissions.
Indeed.. with a keylogger your friend will be able to view/edit/delete all of your files, and it won't do anything at all to stop them - or return your files to how they were.
The proper way to do this is as LaVolpe mentioned, which is to set up a different Windows login, and either get your friend to log in using it, or use it yourself to store your documents in a different (protected) folder.
There are very few cases where a keylogger is a valid solution to a problem, and this is definitely not one of them.

This one needs to be dumped. Get rid of it for the benefit of everyone.Quote:

The method needs to be dumped, because it is no way a valid solution to the issue.
A far superior (and easier, and less risky) solution has been put forward, and we will help uknair do that (or another suitable alternative) if needed.
Dear Friends,
Thanks for all the discussion and the replies. I too think the solution is to use protected folders. This problem hence is dumped....
Once again thanks to one and all who gave valuable suggestions.
