Annoying
I usually have 2 windows of VB-World open. 1 for the forums, and the other for browsing the articles. Whenever post a reply or go to a new forum (in window 1) I will usually go back to the "Tips Section." The annoying part is that the focus will switch back to the "Forums" every when I go to a new link (i.e: Post a reply, or go to a new forum). This repeats itself about 3 times, and sort of gets annoying.
Does this happen to everyone, or is it just my browser settings?

That happens to me too (not just VBW). It seems if you have more than 1 IE open, and whilst waiting for one of them to download a page, you look at another IE window, when the first has finished downloading, it will pop-up. It's is ****ing annoying and I can't find anything that turns it off A case of MS trying to be helpful and just pissing everyone off again...

Well ...
I get that at home, and don't get that at office. But I have noticed that behaviour quite a lot. There is no obvious way of turning it off. And I have burnt my fingers many times trying to enter my login name in Yahoo, when the last half was entered in Hotmail window when it completed loading.
Just an odd thought. Could it be related to the IE version ??
A solution is to minimize the IE window after you click a link. This way when the new page loads, the window won't pop up and come to the foreground to annoy you.

Well Netscape does it as well, so they're both as bad as each other.
This gets on my tits too.

The same thing used to happen to mebut i got the new version of TweakUI
and there are settings in there about windows stealing the focus now
the window that will wont to take the focus will just flash
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

Well ...
Another problem I discovered today. If I click the Post Reply button or Quote With Reply button and immediately switch to another browser window, the click does not have any effect.
What this means is if I want to post a reply to any thread, I have to click on the Post Reply button and then wait for some seconds for the 'Opening page http:// ....' message to appear in the browser's status bar and only then will the link start loading. If I switch to another browser window before this message appears, the link does not load.
