Does anyone know of a good book to teach ActionScript? I know Flash quite well but I want to get into the more detailed Flash navigation that can be done with coding the ActionScript. If anyone knows of any decent books on the subject please could they let me know... Cheers.

I have read a few on-line articles by David Emberton, and this is his book. If his book is anything like his on-line tutorials, it should be good.

Hi Chirs,
I have the flash 4 magic, its a good book but it only includes few basic action scripts. You can find these in many websites. If you are looking for indepth knowledge abuout actionscript then this is not the book.

If you want some good tutorials try out this site. (http://www.actionscripts.org/)

Hope this helps

Thank you all for your help I have decided to purchase 2 of the books that have been suggested. One being Flash f/x and the other being the O'Reilly book for ActionScript (out in March). Thank you again for all your help.
