I have a project that I am trying to deploy that contain a masked edit box. The masked edit box uses 'msmask32.ocx'. When I try to run this project on several computers, I get two different errors because of the masked edit box. On some of the computers, the form will show, but the masked edit box is grayed out, like it was there, but was cut out. The other error I get is a message box error when loading the form that says that 'msmask32.ocx' is an old version or is missing. If I replace or add the 'msmask32.ocx' to their system32 file, the project runs fine. I have recompiled the project and added the correct version of 'msmask32.ocx' to the package, but I still get these errors.
We have a couple hundred PC's that will be running this project. Does anyone know how I can get around manually installing this file on every PC?
Normal is boring...
