    Resolved???

    have the rules about resolving threads changed, or maybe i don't understand them.

    Nope! It's still the good old "Thread Tools" -> "Mark Thread Resolved" that the original poster needs to do. Why do you ask?
    when you quote a post could you please do it via the "Reply With Quote" button or if it multiple post click the "''+" button then "Reply With Quote" button.
    If this thread is finished with please mark it "Resolved" by selecting "Mark thread resolved" from the "Thread tools" drop-down menu.

    Did you read the link dbasnett posted?

    Edit: Altough I just realised that the reason the user in that thread can not see the "Mark as resolved" option is because he/she probably havent got JavaScript activated and thus will not see the menu but is instead taken to the bottom of the page where some options are available...and mark as resolved is not one of them.

    The issue relates to a post I helped in. The user cannot see the tools, due, maybe because of what atheist said.

    Yes, if you disable javascript the arrow besides the menus disappears!
