    Am I now subscribed to my own threads by default

    I just added a new thread in the DB forum and, when I went to subscribe to it, I found I already was. Is it now subscribing me to my own threads automatically? And if so, Nice Feature.

    Oh, I bet I know what it was. In User CP|Edit Options there is a Default Thread Subscription Mode. Could you have changed that?

    It is a default setting - Edit Options > "Default Thread Subscription Mode" > "No email subscription". That setting will subscribe you to your threads that you post to without an Instant, Daily, or Weekly email notification. If you change it to "Do not subscribe" then you will not have any kind of subscription to any thread you post to or create.

    Funny thing, that's set to not subscribe automatically. And if I stick a post in the test area now it doesn't subscribe by default. It's always I just had some kind of brain-fart.
