[2005] ASP 2.0 Web Solution Hlp Plz!

Hi Peeps,

I am trying to create an ASP 2.0 web solution in VS2005. I have purchased controls from a site which have been wrote for ASP.Net 2.0 I am assuming that I am create a version 1 because non of the controls show up. How do I create a new ASP.Net v2.0 solution?

Visual Studio 2005 only creates .NET 2.0 websites. While the .NET framework itself can run 1.1 version sites, the Visual Studio 2005 IDE only creates apps that run against the 2.0 or higher framework.

So if you can't get these controls to work, either check with the maker who you bought them from, or check any documentation that may have come with the controls. Usually when you pay for a control, they include a sample project showing you how to use it, or at least documentation on how to implement the control.

Thank you for that mate, I did not install the ASP.Net 2 controls. I have now and everything is fine, thanks again for your help.
