Alright, i'm not sure about the rules and sections..

Im also kinda new to vb..
I have both 6.0 and .NET but I am not sure which one to use :O
It seems like 6.0 has many more resources, but .NET is easier to use..
Anyway, to the point..
I want to create a program like the one below ->
I want it to send the username and pmno to the website of my choice..
Starting at 1 and ending at 99999
If 1 = Successful then; Load the site displaying the successful login from the site
If 1 = Invalid then; +1 -> check #2..
If 2 = Invalid then; +1 -> check #3..
If 3 = Invalid then; +1 -> check #4..
I know I am speaking in a hybrid language, but I hope it makes sense..
I guess really I just need help understanding Winsock;
and its association with VB..
