    VB Softphone Project Recruitment Thread

    Sup, it is I, your beloved and most most worshiped VBF member, Datacide.

    So ya I've got this project I wanted to get started for a while. It's an OpenSource (beacause I don't want to pay you) VoIP application coded entirely in VB. Why VB? Cuz.

    Anyways before I posted in the project communications area I wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone was interested in helping out. The end result of this project is a hybrid instant messenger/VoIP Softphone/P2P application which will be distrubited for free. The source may or may not be given away aswell, it's up to the development team to decide.

    Ummmm i could be wrong here but usually isn't the source behind open source software made availible to anyone? I just figured that's where they got the name "OpenSource" at. Cause, you know, it's open.
    Using VB6 or VB.net 2008 with .net 3.5

    Ya I'm not sure it it's going to OpenSource or not cuz I know alot of developers aren't confortable with giving their code out.

    Ahh yes, VB and its famous ability to manipulate enourmous quantities of raw binary data. (Voip is quite clock-hungry you know).

    You didn't say if it was VB6 or .Net

    I will need to change my trousers if its VB6.
