Thread: How do you e-mail a form using VB

    I've tried to send an e-mail message in VB through Microsoft Outlook by using the the MailItem object but however, the message ends up in the OUTBOX in Outlook saying that no transport provider was available, or something. If anyone knows what the problem is please reply.

    Try the MAPI ocxs or use the MAPI APIs.

    If no transport provider is available, then using MAPI won't help, because it will just pass it to Outlook anyway. Try checking your Outlook settings.
