Me and Penguin saw X-men last week. Everyone was raving how good it was. I thought it was good but not to the point of super fantastically excellent. I like Cyclop - the flash beam freak. They need to make Storm a little bit more powerful. Cyclop's girlfriend is superbly hot. I think her real name is Femma Jenkins in the first Pierce Bronsan James Bond. Wolverine was pretty slick too.
The only person wasn't right for the role was Magneto. Bald headed(baldy) guy fitted perfectly for the wheel chair guy.
When is the new Superman movie coming out? I heard Nicolas Cage is going to play it. hummm a bald superman. I thought Christopher Reeves did a fantastic job. Too bad what happened to him.

Monday Morning Lunatic
Baldy guy (Patrick Stewart) is a damn good actor. Plus it's good for the Brits that we had one of ours as the captain of the Enterprise .

I was a little jubious about Hugh Jackman playng Wolverine but when I saw him I was blown away... He got the part down pat right to the purposeful teasing of Scott
As for Magneto they really did stuff up there... Magneto was supposed to "look" like a fairly young person who just happened to have white hair (a result of so many magnetic waves being produced so close to his person), he certainly wasn't supposed to look like he was actually in his 60's.
(Arnold Schwarzenegger is nearly 60 and he certainly doesn't look as decrepid as the actor that played magneto did)
Oh and as for Superman... I never liked Christopher Reeves playing the part... too dorky for my liking. Superman was not only supposed to be tall (6'2") he was also supposed to be an absolutely PERFECT physical specemin and CR's scrawny frame and boney ribs didn't cut it for me.
Then again... its hard trying to fill the shoes of a hand-drawn character with someone in real life

Well actually he was born 30th July 1947...
So he is technically 53...
But anything over 30 is almost 60 anyway

i liked it
dont know if they gonna make a second one
but i heard they gonna make more
it wasn't that GREAT
but it was alright
i have some assumptions for the second one
since gambit wasn't in it, and magnito wasn't killed
and wolverine didn't wear his FUNKY yellow kick ass outfit
these are all clues that led me to believe they make a second one...
wolverine sucked without that yellow suit

I guess your right about a guy in spandex, that would look pretty gay,
but I would think they would make it like Batman and Robin's suit.
in the first movie Robin was introduced he had this gay ass spandex suit, then Alfred made him a cool looking plastic-like suit.
they should make wolverines suite out of the same material as Robins on Batman, or they should make it out of the same material as the black X-Men suits like on the movie....

Hehehhe...
I laughted so hard when I saw Batman & Robin.
All those bat-buns and bat-nipples and bat-codpieces.... When you saw the closeups of them putting on their suits and all of these sculptured body parts were such a laugh.
They even went to the point of putting nice pointy nipples on the costumes and Batgirl had the tightest bad-buns it wasn't funny...
Certainly not what I would want to see in X-men.

Gen-X:
I agree about the nipples, they really Should Not have had those on Batman and Robin, but on Batgirl that would have been nice

Wonder Woman
If only you realised how transparent you are.
That you placed a juxtapositional oxy-moron inferenced by an idiomatic gender-bender was enough to make any person laugh.
People....
He didn't pick the term Wonder Woman for nothing...
