I think i speak for everyone on this forum when I post this.
We arent hackers. We program games. If you want to learn to hack into Diablo, be my guest, but dont ask your questions about it here.
That said, if you want to learn about hacking.itm files, look into it on the internet. There are tutorials and references all over the place.

Well exuse me!!!...... I just wanted to know, but if you are too busy programming ur "games" to help someone with something about games that is too bad... What other category would you suggest putting it under???.... anyhow VB is the worst for making games because its so slow in that area...

With recent advances such as DirectX 7 & 8 for VB, it isn't slow at all in these respects. And since computers are so fast nowadays, it is hard to notice any difference.
Yes, we program games, we don't hack.

I'm sorry it seemed like it. I had good intent...
As some people go down the hacker path from there.
If you really want to, go see altavista (or www.wotsit.org), which has a complete listing of file formats.

Yes, this is a friendly forum, but it is also a clean one. I would be more then happy to help with any question about programming games, but I would rather keep any and all questions about hacking/cracking/etc somewhere else. I like these forums, and I want to keep it that way.
As I said, there is more then enough information on this subject on the web. Take some time to look for yourself before asking here (this goes for just about any subject you might want to ask about).
Allow me to apologize for seeming rude, but I hope you see my reasons.

Yes i see your reasons... As i said before (maybe i didnt?) I am not a hacker and i dont usually program this kind of stuff, so its new to me and im not sure how to do it. Im sure there is stuff on the web but it is so hard to find it with all the junk out there to. Well, yes i am also looking to try to implement 3D graphics into games.... I have another post about this one and they have helped, but if you have something to say that would be helpful then please, be my guest! thanx...

Search for a guy called Bobbafett (Or something similar), ask him. He made a really good trainer for Diablo
