Difficulty in opening vbforums and vbworld
My OS is Windows 2000 Professional and my browser is Internet Explorer 5. Since the last 2 or 3 weeks, I am not being able to go to the www.vbforums.com and www.vbworld.com web sites through the straight route. On typing the URL in the address box and pressing {Enter}, the message "Opening page http://www.vbforums.com" appears on the status bar, but the web page does not show up (Clicking "Refresh" does not work). The same thing happens in Netscape 4.5 too. However it goes to other web sites quite easily. I am able to go to the forums by clicking on a thread hyperlink in a reply e-mail, but not so easily. The first time I click on the hyperlink, it doesn't show up. After clicking on "Refresh", after sometime an error message comes up "A Run-time error has occurred. Do you wish to debug ?". On clicking on "No", it goes to the thread web page. Before navigating to every web page in the forums, the error messages "A Run-time error has occurred. Do you wish to debug ? Line : 261 Error : Expected "}" ", "A Run-time error has occurred. Do you wish to debug ? Line : 115 Error : Object Expected ", "A Run-time error has occurred. Do you wish to debug ? Line : 475 Error : Object Expected ", etc. come up. Please help.

Try www.vbforums.com - it works fine for me.

Could it be that you forgot the 'u' in forums ?

It was a typing mistake I made in the post which I corrected. I am sure I entered www.vbforums.com, because that is what it shows in the history of the browser. Today it is going to the web site on typing www.vbforums.com, but the error messages are still coming up before navigating to every web page.

Go to your user control panel and set your style to VB Square.
Yes, it's yellow, but it's less intrusive than the other one
