What is it? Every time i save a vb project, it asks if i want to add it to sourcesafe, i was saying yes, i've started saying no, but i havenae a scooby doo what it is .... do i want to add my project to it or not?
The six million dollar question that's been keeping me awake at nights

Sourcesafe is good to use if you are working in team on the same project/ same code.
This is stored on the network , to allow all the users who have access to it to use it.
When you use sourcesafe , you can check code out to work on it.
Other users can use a copy of the stored code to work with but cannot change it while it is beeing checked out by another user.
If another user checks a module in , to have it on your local machine you have to get the latest version through sourcesafe.
I hope this clears your mind a bit , so you can sleep better.

You could clear the checkboxes next to load an startup for sourcesafe in the add-in manager in your editor.
This way it will not be asked again.
Could be in Tools/options too , not sure.
Have to install VS 6 again (on my pc) .
