I want to get some new skills under my belt and have just finished the chapter in Beginning VB6 databases that deals with ASP and VB scripting. This is quite a short chapter and I feel that I should learn more about ASP and VB scripting especially using in conjunction with DB's.
I have win 98 and will soon have a NT partition as well. At the moment I have VB6 + access + PWS installed.
What books would you recommend for learning about this from scratch ? and what is the difference between PWS and IIS. Can I run IIS on win 98 ? and is it freeware or do you have to purchase it ?
Is IIS the MS equvilant of Apache ?
Any help for someone swimming in techie terms !
Hey , we aren't born knowing this stuff, Right !
Thanxs
