Exclamation Adding a Web Reference to Web Form

I am follwing the MS sample on creating a xml web service and
web client. Created the Web service ok. When starting the Client
part, I am to add a web reference that is the xml service I just finished. When I try to open the vsdisco folder, It errors out
with the message "The content type 'application/octet-stream' is not valid for an xml document" Anybody know what this is all
    about?

    Thanks

    Tom

So far everyone that I bump into have the same problem. The .vsdisco file seems to be useless.

Anyway, ignore the .vsdisco file and add the reference to you .asmx file.

    ????

    Programtix,

The asmx file is part of the web service. I am trying to add
a reference of this web service to a web form. So I am attempting
this in the web form project-hence no asmx to add a reference to. I am ill-informed here? If there is another way to add the web reference with out that bogus utilility/vsdisco thing, could you explain how?

    thanks
    Tom
