    cheers

Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

I think that the font size is big enough to get away with the dark colours (with the exception of the copyright bit at the bottom) as well as the fact you only have a small amount of text to read... I imagine it would become tiresome if there was a lot of text to read - depends on the purpose of your site.

But if you are thinking of changing the colours, I was taught that the human eye is more comfortable with light background/dark text combinations so you'd be better off choosing a lighter background colour than changing the colour of the font. (Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone!)

    (Overall - looking good )

I think it's too dark also. It looks good if you just care about the "look." But it's difficult to read. In fact, I couldn't read it without trying pretty hard. I won't linger at sites like that. I don't mind waiting for a site to load, but if it causes me eyestrain (hard to read or psychedelic colors) then I'm gone.

Much better. I really like the background color you chose. Now I would call it subtle, but not hard to read.

    Better

My personal opinion would be to change the colour of the birdie thing so that it stands out more.... but as I said, thats just personal preference.

What are you thinking of putting on the site?

    Thumbs up

Yay I can read it now

I think the bird is fine as it is, I don't think you need any changes now, not unless you can think of something better

Well, good luck with the project

How do they grade this? I'm always dubious about how 'art' is graded after my art teacher failed me because my pictures were unrealistic

it is a contributing mark for just doing it, not the content

    thanks
