Talking My Latest Acquisition - Cool Pics!

This is a new video camera I got at a local ham radio festival. Its a full color NTSC 510 X 492 pixel camera, 30 frames per second, 320 tv line resolution and 5 lux illumination. I also addede an audio module and that slick heatsink and fan to keep it nice and cool. On the board there, as you can see, there is a large metal covering on one are of the board. This section gets REALLY hot so...I covered it with a thermal compound/paste, then with thermal cooling pads, and then threw the heatsink on top of it - now its nice and chilly. Surprisingly, the quality on the cam is really good, and looks just about as good as my video camera that is only 2 years old. The whole package was $55, so I think i got a good deal, especially considering the wireless transmitter with it. Check out the pics!

Im not positive on how far it goes but the came hooks up to those little porty thingies on the front of the card, it slides right on. Ive now installed everything, put the heatsink on, done all of the connections, and mounted the sound card on the board (insulated from the rest of course). I wrapped all of the power cords together and shrink-wrapped them with some gator clips and hooked up the aud/vid cables!
