font ??
what would you suggest is a good looking font for a website ??
suggestions pls
Some people have told me they don't think a fat penguin really embodies the grace of Linux, which just tells me they have never seen a angry penguin charging at them in excess of 100mph. They'd be a lot more careful about what they say if they had.

Verdana all the way, although Trebuchet looks nice in Windows after you get used to it.

errr i hate verdana that looks nasty
i don't know what the other one looks like, but the one that i am using at the moment is Tempus Sans ITC, and that looks pretty cool

You should use common cross-platform fonts because nobody is ganna have xyz font that you downloaded from abc.com
better to specify a font family than particular fonts

furby, really agree with you.. verdana all the way (not big sized however - for normal text) and trebuchet is cool too...
and chris is right abt the font family thing..good practice...
try using arial also... and for disclaimers, terms & conditions and that stuff use Times Roman - for the official look.

oh yeah i know that, but for headings i create images and use fancy fonts, that is why i was asking
