I have DevC++ but it wont work 
Where can I get a good free compiler?

www.digitalmars.com has one. You can also get the Borland compiler for free off their web site ( www.borland.com ).

Borland - didn't seem to support <iostream> for some reason (see his other post)
DJGPP - Makes DOS apps.

Or you can try getting something like Kazaa and download VC++ or the Borland IDE from there. I got my full version of VC++ 6.0 from Morpheus, though you're unlikely to find it there now because of the changes.
