    Hi,

    This isn't related to VB, but didn't know where else to go.....is there any site from where I can download Personal Web Server? I need to try out my ASP scripts...

    Does anyone have any idea??

    Ok, I found a site where I can download PWS.....but, have a slight problem......do I download PWs4.0 or PWS 30. ???? can anyone help me out here??

    Im using Windows95.

    I'm not sure if the PWS is on the Win95 cd but its on the 98 and 98s/e cd's

    PWS is on the win 98 CD in a directory called PWS (go figure!)

    not sure about win 95

    the Win NT version (workstation) ships 2.0 and does not support ASP

    thanx! but if PWS on the NT CD doesn't support ASP whats the point in installing it???

    tried downloading it from the microsoft site but its taking ages.......

    I don't think your can...

    I believe (from my own experience) that Microsoft wants you to buy NT Server so they can get 40 bucks for ever connection from you.

    I used to run ASP on my computer at home but I "upgraded" to NT. Now everything is VB CGI scripts.

    PWS comes in the NT option pack that ships with VB6 along with MTS 2.0.
