I have a COM+ DLL that references a database. the driver is a Visual Foxpro driver..In my COM+ setting options i have "transaction required". This gives me an error
'-2147168246' 8004d00a driver not capable.
If i change the settings to "Transaction supported" the program works correctly.
Where do you think the problem lies..i have to use transactions..is the ODBC Driver not capable of carrying out a transaction. i implemented the same application on another machine and it works perfectly..same ODBC, same application..just that it is a client machine and the fist one is a Server.
your help would be genuinely appreciated
